The Best Snowshoeing in the White Mountains

- Head to Ski Hearth Farm, located not too far from the Inn.

Alpine Adventures offers guided back-country snowshoe tours complete with scenic vistas, beautiful wooded trails, and a knowledgeable guide. You’ll be driven out to the trailhead in one of their 6-wheeled mountain vehicles. They also offer guided Twilight Snowshoe Tours, which are a truly beautiful way to experience the magic of winter in the White Mountains. - Feel free to explore the snowshoeing trails at Loon Mountain Resort on your own, or join them for one of their guided tours around the Pemi River, or at the summit of Loon Peak via the Loon Gondola.
- Head to Intervale to discover the 45km of groomed cross country and snowshoe trails at Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring & Snowshoe Foundation.
- Head to Great Glen Trails for some incredible views of Mt. Washington, and 45km of groomed and backcountry trails. This is also a great place to enjoy the solitude of an evening snowshoeing tour.
