This room, with windows on three sides, is named for its magnificent view of Mount Lafayette. Mt. Lafayette (5,260 feet) represents the highest peak in the Franconia Ridge.
Actress Bette Davis stayed at the inn and slept in this room many times during the 1930’s and 40’s and this room was formerly known as the Bette Davis Suite.
A queen size bed, spacious sitting area, maple floors, full bath with a soaking tub and gas fireplace all combine to make the Lafayette room a very special place.
The limited edition print by local artist, Cynthia Knapton, brightens the room with a field of local wildflowers.
The inn is not suitable for children under the age of fourteen.
Room Selection Tip: If having a TV is important you may prefer Moses, Wildflower or Perennial.
