Wildflower has been transformed into a timeless country cottage discovery. The cute barn red shutters and window boxes invite you in. Worn hickory floors, natural stone tiles, fireplace and mountain and garden views reflect the terroir of Franconia Notch. The old fashion wardrobe and country sink speaks to the craftsmanship of another age. Start your day with early morning coffee on the front porch.
This guest room has a sitting area, private bath with large walk in shower, a gas fireplace and a country king size bed. An original oil painting by local artist, Adrien “Yellow” Patenaude brings the outside in. Adrien, inspired by Van Gogh, Cezanne and Monet applies their sense of color to the New England landscape. When renovating Wildflower in November of 2009 we choose to use Benjamin Moore Natura® Zero VOC paints. At the Sugar Hill Inn environmental issues are an important part of any decision. Regular paint can effect indoor air quality for years While Perennial and Wildflower rooms can be booked separately, a connecting door makes these rooms perfect for couples or families traveling together. The Family Package is available for this room.
